Making for one of the earlier arrivals, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was spotted at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 13).

The “Jersey Shore” babe arrived at the Staples Center in Los Angeles decked out in a glimmering silver frock as she soaked up the press attention.

Tonight’s festivities will include a bevy of beautiful people and a plethora of amazing musical performances.

Among those taking the stage are Justin Bieber, Lady Antebellum, Muse, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Eminem.

Snooki, JWoww to Film Jersey Shore Spinoff Pilot?

Snooki and JWoww are, like, total BFFs, as last night's Jersey Shore proved. They're so tight, MTV wants them to film a spinoff pilot - this weekend!

The pilot episode will be shot in Long Island over the weekend. There's no special hook to the potential new show, it's just JWoww and Snooki solo.

Sort of like the Kardashians and their 19 spinoffs. It's a bit odd that MTV even wants a pilot. They sort of know what to expect from JWoww, no?

GRUESOME TWOSOME: Is MTV spinning off JWoww and Snooki?

This would be the second proposed spinoff of Jersey Shore, which is reportedly airing a fourth season as well. A Pauly D spinoff has already begun filming.

No word yet what Jenni and Nicole will be doing in the pilot, but we would bet a fair amount that there will be a lot of bronzer, boobs and buff dudes. Sweet.

 No More Snooki?

Her nickname might be what we all know her by, but Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi is tired of it – and she wants her real name back! Snooki – I mean Nicole, told The AP that she was tired of the nickname that’s helped make her famous;

“I miss my real name,”

“I miss people calling me Nicole.”

I can understand that, but she is credited as Nicole Snooki Polizzi on her novel, A Shore Thing, so she must not dislike the nickname too much! I think it’s probably a good idea to move away from the ‘Snooki’ name if she’s trying to create a more mainstream brand for herself. Unfortunately, I don’t know if people will be able to see her as anyone other than ‘Snooki’! What do you think?
